Our School year.

We began school a week earlier than the public schools in our area so we are beginning our second week this morning. Our schedule is a little different this year, but I think( and pray)  in a good way. We are going to be out of the house more and my kids are excited about that... ( me.. not so much. I like having a day or two a week to not have to go anywhere) The hybrid school/co-op I mentioned in another post is where the majority of their instruction will come from and then my job will be more reiteration and retention.

Anyway, I think it will be good for them. I usually list out what each student is doing this year so I thought I would do that again.

So.... as you can see , we will be very busy! My main issue is keeping everyone schedule straight! I do love homeschooling and being able to have more of a say in my children's education, but at the same time I think it will be good for them to have to take instruction from someone else and to keep up with assignments this year. My prayer is that I am not only able to teach them subjects that they will need for college and employment but also to help mold and teach them into becoming adults that love and serve God and to be kind to others and to treat others well.
