FHE Hawks Middle School Volleyball
Abby played for the Forsyth Home Educators Lady Hawks again this year. She was blessed to have the same coach as last year.... we LOVE Coach Carla and so appreciate all the time and effort she puts into coaching the girls. Abby has improved so much ever year she has played volleyball. She was co captain again this year. The girls on her team were so sweet and they had a lot of fun together and won a lot of games! They even placed second in the NCHE State tournament.
#15 doing her thing!
The FHE Middle School Lady Hawks
Regionals were held at Piedmont Baptist College...so surreal to have her playing on "my" old court!
Love these sweet fun girls!

Created for Care - He Makes Beautiful Things...
I was able to go to the Created for Care adoptive mom retreat in Georgia last winter and am so excited to be able to go again this year. Here is the promo video for it. You will see a Mullis shout out around the 2:50 mark of the video :)
So thankful for Andrea and her C4C team that makes this event possible.

A fall Recipe
I am going to share one of my kids favorite recipes. When we lived in WV, Pepperoni Rolls were a staple at potlucks, tailgates and even gas stations and grocery stores. I never really made them because we ate them out. When we moved to FL they were not to be found so I have to dig out a recipe someone had given me for them in WV. My kids love them! I like to dip them in warm pizza sauce when they just come out of the oven, but the are equally good cold. Apparently when Italian immigrants came to WV to work in the coal mines their wives would pack them in lunches because you could eat them with your hands easily and trust me..they are much better than a sandwich!
So here ya go!
WV Pepperoni Rolls
1 1/2 cup of warm water
1/3 cup of sugar
1 package of yeast
1 t salt
1/4 cup of powdered milk
4 cups of flour
Dissolve all but flour into warm water. Stir in flour and knead about 5 min. Shape into ball and let rest 30 min.
tear into 12 pieces and roll out.. Place pepperonis ( about 3 rounds) and shredded cheese in middle of roll and roll up.
mix one egg with 2 T of butter and 2 t of sugar. Brush on rolls. Bake at 400 until brown ( about 15 min)
